12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 8!

Het is tijd voor tag 8! Tim heeft een beetje een mannelijke tag gemaakt vandaag, altijd leuk om inspiratie op te doen voor een mannen tag!

It's time for tag number 7! Tim has made a male tag today, it’s always nice to get some inspiration for male tags!

1.    De uitgestanste weathered clock en de sprockets gears geverfd met een metallic acryl verf. Daarna geembost met gouden embossingpoeder.

The die cuts (weathered clock and the sprockets gears ) are painted with a metallic acrylic paint. Then embossed with gold embossingpowder.

2.   Tekst stempelen. Op deze stempel staat de tekst achter elkaar. En ik wil de tekst onder elkaar stempelen. Dus ik leg een briefje over het woord wat ik niet wil stempelen. Dan de inkt op het woord wat ik wel wil stempelen. Het briefje voorkomt dat er per ongeluk toch inkt op het andere woord komt. Stempel de tekst. Maak de stempel schoon!!! En doe het precies andersom met het andere woord!
Stamping the words Christmas Wishes. On this stamp the words are standing next to each other. And I want to stamp them among each other. Put a note on top of the word you don’t want to stamp.  Thanks to the note the other word has no ink on it. Stamp on paper. Clean your stamp!!!  And now you do the same steps with the other word.

3.    Stempel met versamark een afbeelding op de tag. Bestrooien met wit embossingpoeder, poeder smelten met heattool.
Stamp image with versamark (or TH distress embossing ink) on to the tag. Sprinkle white embossing powder on to the versamark. Heat with a heattool.

 
4.    Distress de tag met de seasonal distress inkts. Ik heb zelf nog Peeled Paint (Groen) toegevoegd voor wat extra kleur.

5.    Ik vond de achtergrond wat saai omdat ik niet alle stempels heb, dus ik heb de tag geembost met de texture fade Steampunk.
I found my background was a little bit boring, because I don’t have all the stamps that Tim used, so I embossed the tag with the texture fade Steampunk.

6.    Twee gaatjes gemaakt in een oud koelkast lampje.

12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 7!

Tim Holtz heeft weer een prachtige tag gemaakt!  Vandaag heeft hij gekozen voor Kraft Glassine Paper  met Perfect Pearls en Alcohol Inkt.  Ik heb alle 3 de producten niet, althans alcohol inkt wel maar niet in de juiste kleur. Ik had al eens vaker geexpirimenteerd met bakpapier om te zien of ik niet hetzelfde effect kon krijgen... en vandaag is het me (bijna) gelukt! Ik heb weer foto’s gemaakt voor jullie!

Tim Holtz has made a beautiful tag again! Today he has chosen for Kraft Glassine Paper  with Perfect Pearls en Alcohol Ink. I don’t have these 3 products, accept for alcohol ink but not in the right color. I have experimented earlier with baking paper to see if I could get the same effect… and today I (almost) did! Again I have taken pictures for you!

1.    Expirimenteren met bakpapier, glimmermist, alcohol inkt, distress inkt en pastelkrijt.

2.    Een afdrukje van de stempel (jattex, maar dat kan ik hier niet neerzetten natuurlijk) op kraft papier, Vintage Photo distress stain op de non stick craft sheet en de tag er door heen gehaald. De tag geglimmermist.

3.    De holly branch blaadjes nagetekend, malletjes van geknipt, en overgenomen op bakpapier. De Branch Tree mal had ik wel, deze is geverft, geglimmermist en die verknipt zodat ik takjes had. 
I have drawn the holly branch leaves with a pencil on to white paper and made a template of them. Then I copied the template on to baking paper. I did had the Branch Tree die, so I painted the tree, used glimmermist on it and cut it in to pieces so I had smaller branches.

4.    De bakpapieren blaadjes bewerkt met: paint dabber, alcohol inkt, glimmermist,en pastelkrijt.
I altered the leaves of baking paper with: a paintdabber, alcohol ink, glimmermist and pastels.

5.    Heb de blaadjes glans gegeven met een goud metallic acrylverf die doorzichtig opdroogd (kruidvat).  De takjes bestickled en de tag gestempeld en geglimmermist.
I gave the leaves some shimmer with a gold metallic acrylic paint with dries up transparent (cheap bottle purchased at a Dutch store).

6.    Toen wilde ik de tag opmaken, maar vond ik de achtergrond veel te donker geworden!!! Dus de tag omgedraaid en opnieuw begonnen! Heb de tag geembost met de texture fade sheet music. Gedistressed, met een paintdabber op gelicht, wat glimmermist (ja alweer!). Na de opmaak de stempel voorzien van een stickles randje.
Then I wanted to decorate the tag and I didn’t like the background, way to dark! So I turned the tag upside down and started over! I embossed the tag with the texture fade sheet music. Distressed it, highlighted it with a paintdabber, added some glimmermist (yes.. again!). I finished the tag with adding stickles to the border of the stamp.

Hebben jullie ze al allemaal af of moeten er nog wel een paar worden gemaakt? Om eerlijk te zijn hadden wij van het Designteam ze nog lang niet klaar, dus daarom nog één keer een schets voor een kerstkaart. En mocht je nou al je kerstkaarten al af hebben dan dagen we je uit om met deze schets een "niet-kerstkaart" te maken! Moet lukken toch?

12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 6!

Ik moest vandaag eerst naar de meiden (Jongerencentrum), en we hebben weer heerlijk gevilt! Wat een natte kliederzooi hahahaha! Maar de gevilte telefoonhoesjes zijn een succes, dus het was reuze gezellig! Ik kwam een klein beetje in de knoop met de tijd voor de tag, maar het is toch weer gelukt!

Today I had to go to the Girls (youth center), and we went on with our felt project! The water and soap causes a lot of mess whahahaha! The felted phone skins/cases (sorry don’t know if that’s correct)are a success, we had a really good time! So time was short, but I managed to get my tag ready on time! 

1.    Embossing folders uitzoeken voor de tag.

2.    Metaalfolie op glossy fotopapier plakken (ik gebruik hiervoor goedkoop fotopapier waar ik me ooit aan miskocht heb). 

Glueing metal foil on to glossy photo paper (I’m using cheap photo paper, which wasn’t a success for printing pictures)

3.    Geemboste metaalfolie in stukken geknipt.

Cut the embossed metalfoil.

 
4.    De stukken metaalfolie op de tag geplakt.

Glued the pieces of metal foil on to the tag.

5.    Verven met acrylverf.

Painted with acrylic paint.

6.    Schuren, distressen met Vintage Photo, en de tag embossen met UTEE.

12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 5!

Het is maandag en het feestje (weekend) is voorbij! Dus weer op voor de dagelijkse dingen en verplichtingen, maar ik heb toch tag 5 kunnen maken!  Alle foto’s  zijn dus vanavond helaas met flits gemaakt, jammer maar dat mag de pret niet drukken toch! Ik denk alleen niet dat ik het nog ga redden om Mario te volgen met BTS (een mens moet toch af en toe wat slapen), maar het leuke van internet is dat je het later altijd nog terug kunt lezen! 

It’s monday and the party (the weekend) is over! So back to the normal daily things and  obligations, but I’ve managed to make tag 5! All of the pictures were taken with flash light, that’s a pity but that can not spoil the fun! It’s not possible anymore to follow Mario with his BTS (I need to get some sleep at night), but the nice thing about internet is, that you always can read it later on!

Ik heb geen Reflections Stempels, maar ik wist dat er een andere truc was om met een gewone stempel hetzelfde effect te bereiken. Ik ben gaan zoeken op youtube tussen de filmpjes van Tim Holtz, en kon niets vinden.  Totdat Jacco op het idee kwam “zou dat op de dvd van Tim staan!” Ja waarschijnlijk wel dus. Ik had dat filmpje graag met jullie gedeeld, maar er berusten natuurlijk copyrights op. Korte uitleg dan maar? Zie een grote rubberen stempel voor je. En stel je voor dat die stempel ergens een groot plat vlak heeft. Op dat vlak stempel je, en dan stempel je met DIE stempel op je tag. De inkt geeft af en je stempel staat in spiegelbeeld! Ik wilde dat dus graag aan jullie laten zien, maar had niet zo’n grote stempel. Jacco en ik hebben samen geexpirimenteerd met foam, leer, plastic,  sheets, zelfs mijn snijmat, maar niets werkte!!! Helaas dus geen echte alternatieve techniek kunnen verzinnen!

I don’t have reflection stamps, but I knew there was another trick, to turn a regular stamp into a reversed stamp. I started searching on youtube between the Tim Holtz movies, but couldn’t find it! Until Jacco (my husband) came with the bright idea that I’ve seen it on the Tim Holtz Dvd. Yes, I probably did! I would have love to show you the technique, but I have to honor the copyrights. Short explanation of the technique?  You need a big rubber stamp with a flat surface area. Stamp with another rubber stamp and archival ink on to the flat surface. Then use that stamp to stamp your images with. Now your stamp is backwards!  But I didn’t such a big stamp so I started experimenting, with foam, leather, plastic, sheets even my cutting mat, but nothing did the trick! So I haven’t been able to come up with a alternative technique!

 1.    Breng alcohol inkt aan op je inkt blending tool of alcohol inkt applicator en tamponeer je tag ermee. Laat het even drogen.  
Apply alcohol ink to the ink blending tool or alcohol ink applicator.  Apply the alcohol ink on to the tag. Let it dry.

2.    Ik heb gekozen voor stempels van ijssterren en sterren, deze komen van de Action! Je stempelt met de archival inkt op je tag.
I have chosen to use stamps of stars and snow crystals from a Dutch store.  Stamp the images with archival ink.

3.    Met een zachte oude lap poets je met een draaiende beweging de archival inkt weg.   
Remove the archival ink yently with a rotating movement using a soft cloth.

12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 4!

Ik wil eerst beginnen met jullie allemaal te bedanken voor jullie steun en lieve berichtjes! Het werkt erg motiverend!  Het begint vermoeiend te worden,  zeker omdat ik Mario via Twitter met BTS (behind the scene) probeer te volgen, en door het tijdsverschil begint dit pas om 01.00 uur ’s nachts! Je krijgt om de zoveel tijd een foto van Tim te zien en wat hij aan het creeeren is.... Zo leuk! De nachten zijn kort, de dagen dus lang....  Maar ik vind het zo leuk om te doen!!! Ik heb mezelf vorig jaar  beloofd dat ik mee zou doen, en ik vind het geweldig! 

First I want to start with thanking you all for your support and sweet messages! It motivates me a lot! I’m starting to get tired, because I’m trying to follow Mario on Twitter with BTS (behind the scene), and because of the time difference this starts at 01.00 a.m. (at night, local time)! He shows us pictures of what Tim is creating….. so much fun!  The nights are short, the days are long….But it’s worth it and it’s so nice being a part of it! I promised myself last year I would join Tim with his 12 tags of Christmas, and I find it amazing!

Oke dag 4 en dus tag 4! Aan de slag!
Okay day 4 and that means tag 4! Let’s get ready/busy!

1.    Ik heb de sneeuwpop uit chipboard gestanst en geverft met witte acrylverf.  Ik had de movers and shapers reindeer and 25 niet,  ik wilde andere cijfers 25 op de sneeuwpop plakken.

I cut the snowman from chipboard, and painted it with white acrylic paint. I didn’t have the movers and shapers reindeer and 25, so the plan was to glue other numbers on it.

2.    Gewone Crackle paint. Ik heb een hekel aan de droogtijd... Dus Tim Holtz Crackle Resist staat op mijn verlanglijstje!
Regular Crackle paint. I really dislike the drying time…. So Tim Holtz Crackle Resist is on my wish list.

3.    Onverwachts kreeg ik de movers and shapers reindeer and 25 vandaag voor Sinterklaas!

Unexpectedly I got the movers and shapers reindeer and 25 as a gift for Saint Nicolas!

4.    Ik heb de sneeuwpop met blauwe acrylverf geverfd (ik heb nog steeds geen distress stain).
I painted the snowman with blue acrylic paint (I still don’t have no distress stain ;-) )

5.    Distress inkt aangebracht op non stick craft sheet, en vervolgens de tag er door heen gehaald.
Distress ink put on the non stick craft sheet, and run the tag through it.

6.    Extra waterdruppels aangebracht voor een distressed effect. De distress inkt gedroogd met the heattool.

12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 3!

Tim heeft vandaag een tag gemaakt met zijn favoriete techniek: the custom stamp pad technique! Ik vind dit inderdaad ook een geweldige techniek, niet alleen omdat je de stamppad nog lange tijd kunt bewaren maar ook het effect op de stempel dat de kleuren niet in elkaar overlopen! Met een  stempelkussen in de hand lukt je dit nooit om het heel mooi te doen.  Maar ik had geen cut n' dry felt,  ik heb maar 1 reinker namelijk Tea Die , dus ik heb weer wat anders verzonnen! 

Tim has made a tag with his favorite technique: the custom stamp pad technique! I find this techniek amazing, not just because you can preserve this stamppad for a long time, but  I love the fact that the colors of the ink don’t blend in to each other!  With a normal stamppad you’re not able to create this effect in a nice way. I didn’t have cut n' dry felt, I only have 1 reinker color Tea Die, so I made something else!

2.    Het geemboste kraftpapier heb ik gedistressed met Fired Brick, Evergreen  Bough (seasonal distress) en Peeled paint.

3.    De blaadjes van de Decoritive Strip Festive Greenery heb ik geschuurd en met een Paintdabber Pearl wat aangestipt, vervolgens gedistressed met Vintage Photo. 
The leaves of the Decoritive Strip Festive Greenery are sanded,  dabt with the Pearl Paintdabber, after that I distressed the leaves with Vintage Photo.

4.    Met alcohol inkt heb ik verschillende embellishments gekleurd. De kerstbal in de vorm van een ster was zilver is nu bruin, daarvoor heb ik de kleuren Ginger en Butterscotch gebruikt. De rhinestones zijn gekleurd met Raspberry.
With alcohol ink I have colored the embellishments. The Christmas ornament (star) was silver, now it’s sparkly brown. I used the colors Ginger and Butterscotch. The rhinestones are colored with Raspberry.

12 Tags of Christmas – Tag 2

Dag 2 begon een beetje als een challenge! Van alle gebruikte materialen had ik alleen the seasonal distress inkt!  (En later vond ik in de la een uitgestanst wit TH hertje wat ik ooit gekregen heb). Het basismateriaal vandaag is Kraft resist. Ik heb wel kraft, stempels, inkt en UTEE clear embossing poeder!  Dus ik ben aan de slag gegaan om een vergelijkbaar effect te creeeren.

Day 2 was a bit of a challenge! From all the materials that Tim used I only had the seasonal distress inks! (Later I found a TH die cut of the deer, which a friend had given me). I took pictures to show you how I made the tag with other materials! Today’s basic material is Kraft resist paper. I do have kraft paper, stamps, ink and clear UTEE! So I got started to create something similar to Kraft resist! 

1. Kraft bestempelen met Stazon.

2.Kraft op chipboard lijmen (doe ik altijd voor de stevigheid!)
Glue the kraft paper on top of chipboard (for reinforcement, I always do that)

3. Stempelen met Versamark en UTEE

4. Witte acrylverf met water verdund om een distress stain effect te krijgen
Mixing white acrylic paint with lots of water to create a distress stain effect

5. Stempel in kleuren met distress inkt met een smaller applicatortje
Color the stamp with distress ink and a smaller ink tool

6. De verdunde witte acrylverf gemengt met Aleene’s Pearlizing Medium zodat het gaat glanzen. Met een rietje “opgeschept” en heel hard en kort door het rietje blazen voor een Perfect Pearls Mist effect.
Added some Aleene’s Pearlizing Medium  to the diluted white acylic paint for a glossy finish. Used a drinking straw to pick up the paint, blew into the straw short and hard for a Perfect Pearls Mist effect.

The twelve tags of Christmas! Tag 1!

Het is vandaag 1 december 2011, en Tim is gestart met de eerste tag van dit jaar! En hij is prachtig!

Today is December the first 2011, and Tim has started with the first tag of this year! And it is absolutely beautiful!

Challenge # 36 Sinterklaas layout!

Het is tijd voor challenge #36, de schets is bedacht door Brenda! Het is de bedoeling dat je een layout maakt... maar zoals jullie ondertussen gewend zijn, je mag er van maken wat je zelf wil! Dus als je liever een kaart maakt omdat je nog kerstkaarten tekort komt, lekker doen!  Maar iedereen die een layout maakt, maakt kans op een leuke RAK die Brenda beschikbaar heeft gesteld!

Ik heb wel een layout gemaakt! En wie aan Robert komt.... komt aan Joyce! Daar gaat deze layout over. Op de foto zie je me bij Sinterklaas ruzie maken (!!!) met een jongetje in een rode tuinbroek! Wat is er gebeurd? Nou Robert (de zoon van een collega van mijn vader,) en ik waren speelkameraadjes, en we wilden naast elkaar zitten bij Sinterklaas. Deze jongeman in de rode tuinbroek dacht daar heel anders over, pikte zijn plek in en duwde Robert aan de kant. Tja..... en wie aan Robert komt...  Dus ik sta hier ruzie te maken. Het is heel duidelijk hoe boos ik was! Hahaha!  Maar de juffrouw was het niet zo heel erg met me eens!  Zij vond dat ik geen ruzie mocht maken waar Sinterklaas bij was, ik moest voor straf de hele middag naast die tuinbroek blijven zitten en als ik niet heel snel heel erg lief tegen hem ging doen, kreeg ik geen cadeautje!  Ik herinner me dat ik nog lange tijd heb zitten mokken! ;-)  Want ik maakte nooit ruzie, daar was ik veel te verlegen voor, maar dit schoot dus echt in het verkeerde keelsgat! Hahahaha! Ow en p.s. Robert is die jongen met de zwart/wit gestreepte trui.  De journaling over deze gebeurtenis (die in mijn geheugen gegrift staat) staat achter op de tag die achter de foto is geschoven. Grappig hoe een kinder-ruzietje veranderd is in een heerlijke en lachwekkende herinnering dankzij een foto op het juiste moment! Wat een mazzel dat ik deze foto heb! Ik heb tijdens het maken van deze layout de hele middag moeten grijnzen hahaha!  Wat hebben we toch een heerlijk hobby he!

It’s time for challenge #36, this weeks sketch is made by Brenda!  The challenge  is to create a layout… but as you all know, it’s alright if you want to create something else too! So if you’re short on Christmas cards, or want to make another card, just do it! But everyone who decides to create a layout has a chance to win the very nice RAK made available by Brenda!

I did make a layout! To make a long story short: St. Nicolas is a typical Dutch holiday. It looks al lot like Christmas. St. Nicolas gives away presents to children which behaved nicely this year. Naughty children get “nothing” (no child will get noting of course, it’s a story for children so they behave!!). But as you all can see on the photograph… I had a big argument with another boy on St. Nicolas day! Naughty! Well he took the seat in which my friend was sitting and pushed him away! So I got mad at him. Don’t you touch my friend!  My schoolteacher got mad at me, because you have to be nice for St. Nicolas. For my punishment I had to sit and be nice to this boy all day, or I wouldn’t get my present! P.s. My friend is the one in the black and white striped sweater. I loved making this layout,and I feel so lucky to have a picture of this moment! It makes me grin every time I see it! Ladies, we are lucky with our wonderful scrapbooking hobby!

Het is weer zover! 1 december staat voor de deur, en dat betekend dat Tim weer begint met the twelve tags of Christmas!  En ik wil ze dit jaar weer maken, maar nu wil ik echt proberen om het ook elke dag op de blog te laten zien! Gaat het me lukken? Jullie gaan het zien!

I would like to start with telling you all, that I find it so amazing  how many ladies have entered this weeks challenge with my sketch for CFY! It’s awesome  to see your own sketch  transferred into cards en layouts!

This weeks challenge at CFY is made by Wilma! She has chosen a picture of a piece of a quilt blanket, with her favorite colors!

CFY kerstkaartenweekend !

Het was al aangekondigd, dit weekend hebben we een extra challenge want het is kerstkaartenweekend bij Challenges For You! Wilma, Monique en Berdien hebben alle 3 een schets gemaakt. Je mag er een uitkiezen of zelfs alle 3 maken! Hoe meer schetsen je inzend hoe groter je kans wordt om die harstikke leuke RAK te winnen! Inzenden kan tot maandag 12.00uur. Succes allemaal!

Challenge #34 My first sketch!

Het is zover… de CFY challenge van deze week is bedacht door mezelf! Mijn allereerste schets. Ik heb geprobeerd om een schets te maken die je voor een kaart en voor een layout kunt gebruiken. Ik heb zelf gekozen voor het papier van Little black dress, omdat ik het papier prachtig vind en het mooi paste bij deze trouwfoto. De gehaakte bloemen heeft mijn moeder trouwens gemaakt!

Ik heb hulp gehad bij het digitaliseren van deze schets, ik ben een echte digibeet als het gaat om photoshop enzo... Dus: Jacco bedankt dat je mijn potlood tekening omgezet heb naar een mooie digitale afbeelding! Het designteam heeft fantastische voorbeelden gemaakt, dus ga gauw kijken, en doe gezellig mee!

It’s time for a new CFY challenge.... and this weeks challenge is made by me! This is my first sketch. I’ve tried to create a sketch which could be used for a card and a layout.  I used the PP of Little Black Dress, I love this papers and they look great with this weddingpicture. The crochet flowers are made by my mother!

I’ve got help with digitalizing this sketch, I’m truly clueless when it comes to working with Photoshop and other software like that, so…. Jacco (my husband) thank you for turning my pencil drawing into a digital picture! The designteam has made beautiful examples, so take a look at them, and join us!

Give away voor Cornelie

Zoals jullie weten heeft Cornelie de give away gewonnen! Ze heeft de kaart met Creatable ondertussen ontvangen... dus ik kan hem posten! Als ik denk aan Colorfull Cornelie denk ik natuurlijk meteen aan kleur!  Maar ik heb toch besloten om een echte Joyce-kaart te maken!  Ik heb vanwege de verpakking van de mal gekozen voor een afwijkende maat (hoog en smal) en dat is heel goed uitgevallen! Soort van half lootje, maar dan in kaartvorm!

As you all know, Cornelie has won my give away! Meanwhile she has received her card and Creatable… so I can show the picture now! When I think about Colorfull Cornelie, I think of colors! But I decided to create a real Joyce-card! Because of the packaging size of the Marianne Design Creatable, I’ve chosen for a different card size!  It’s a high and small card, and I really like the size! Kind of a half layout, but then a card of course!

Challenge #33 Lift challenge

Het is alweer tijd voor een nieuwe challenge! De challenge is bedacht door Berdien en deze week gaan we liften! Erg leuk idee, ik wil nog steeds een keer mee doen met de liftchallenge van Cornelie en Nadine, maar nu heb ik toch al een keer even mogen proeven aan het concept! Wat ik persoonlijk een beetje lastig vind is wat je nu wel en niet mag aanpassen. Het is niet de bedoeling dat je letterlijk lift maar ook niet dat je er teveel van afwijkt.. Dus dat vind ik een beetje lastig inschatten, en mijn kaart wijkt dan ook behoorlijk af van de rest, dus of ik het helemaal goed gedaan heb weet ik niet, maar ik vind mijn kaart wel leuk geworden!

It’s time for a new challenge! This weeks challenge is made by Berdien and we are going to “lift” (copy) a card! A very nice idea, I still want to try and enter the “liftchallenge” of Cornelie and Nadine, and now a had a change to try out this concept! Personally I find it difficult to estimate what you can and may not change from the example.  It is not intended to copy the card exactly, but you may not change it a lot… So that’s a bit tricky for me, and my card looks so different from the rest, I don’t now if I did okay or not, but I like the way the card turned out!

Tim Holtz Tag

Hallo allemaal! Ik krijg deze week twee oude letterbakken cadeau voor mijn scrapkamer om stempels en andere leuke dingen in te zetten. Gaaf he!!  Als bedankje wil ik een bosje bloemen geven, maar daar hoort natuurlijk een leuk kaartje bij. Dus ik heb een tag gemaakt met Tim Holtz Alterations movers and shapers Baroque mal, die laat ik door de bloemist er aan hangen!

Hello everybody! This week I’m getting two old wooden configuration boxes  (I don’t know how to call them in English sorry!) for my scraproom, to put in stamps and other nice stuff. Cool Huh?! So as a thank you, I want to give them flowers  of course with a nice tag attached to it! I used the Tim Holtz Alterations movers and shapers Baroque Die, and the florist will put the tag between the flowers for me!

100ste volger! 100th follower!

Hallo allemaal!
Ik heb zojuist mijn 100ste volger bereikt!  Fotolabida1 komt uit Griekenland en is mijn 100ste volger, dank je wel hiervoor!

Ik ben de laatste weken wat afwezig geweest in blogland. Het begon met het voorbereidend werk wat ik moest doen voor mijn demo, toen het schokkende nieuws over het speedbootongeluk hier waarbij mijn oude buurjongens betrokken waren. Toen werd ik geveld door een flinke griep, en toen kwam het trieste nieuws van mijn vriendin. Kortom oktober was mijn maand niet, en het spijt me dat ik niet vaak genoeg bij jullie ben wezen kijken! Maar wat heerlijk om november zo te mogen beginnen!  Op 28 november bestaat mijn blog een jaar, en wat is er toch een hoop gebeurd in die 12 maanden!  Dames ik wil jullie allemaal ontzettend bedanken voor alle steun, lieve en leuke reacties van het afgelopen jaar!

Ik wil omdat ik mijn 100ste volger bereikt heb een kleine give way doen. Wat kan je winnen? Omdat ik de laatste tijd ook veel met Marianne Design Creatables werk, en die door elke stansmachine kunnen, mag de winnaar een Creatable naar keuze uitzoeken, en dan ga ik mijn best doen om die voor je te vinden! Last couple of weeks,  I have been absent al lot in blogland. It started with the preparatory work I had to do for my demo, when the shocking news came about the speedboat accident, the victims were boys/neighbors from my hometown.  Then I had a strong flu for 2 weeks, and then came the sad news of my friend been passed away. October was not a good month for me, and I'm sorry I didn’t visit yours blogs often enough! But this is a great way to start November! On November 28th is my first blog anniversary, and a lot happened in these past 12 months! Ladies I want to thank you all very much for all of the support, sweet and nice messages over last year!

Because I reached my 100th follower I want to do a little give away for my followers. What can you win? Challenge #32 baby gift / cadeau

De challenge van deze week is bedacht door Cora! Maak een kaartje of iets anders leuks voor een zoon, een dochter, een tweeling, of... Had ik even geluk, want een collegaatje is bevallen van een zoon en daar ga ik binnenkort op kraambezoek! Ik heb gekozen voor een doosje, wat ze evt. kan hergebruiken op de babykamer om flessen babylotion e.d. in te zetten.

This weeks challenge is made by Cora! The challenge is to make a card or something else for a baby boy, a baby girl, twins, or... Lucky me, because a colleague of mine gave birth to a sweet baby boy, and soon i'm going to visit her to see her newborn! I made a giftbox, she can use for her nursery, to put bottles of babylotion etc. in it.
